InDesCo, short for Indian Designers’ Collaboration, is a platform for knit and crochet designers of India to showcase their talent.

Story Of InDesCo
This is an idea that began developing in 2019 over many a cup of Starbucks coffee with Mary (Mary Renji is a crochet designer and a knitter). We knew there were many talented Indian designers within the country and outside, what we needed was a way to share our work through a common platform. We approached a few designer friends who we thought might enjoy taking this journey with us and in September of 2019, InDesCo was born.
The main aim is to come together under a theme very typical of India, interpret it in our own unique ways, express what it means to us through our designs and knit / crochet it into being.
Our first edition, Colours of Holi, was released in March 2020 as a celebration of the Indian festival of Holi. This was followed by Monsoon Memoirs, in September the same year, celebrating all of the loveliness that is the Indian Monsoon. Our 3rd edition, Taj Mahal (ravelry link), was published in 2021 and our latest edition is Spices of India (ravelry link), published in 2022.
