This snug yet stretchy hat has a lot of texture but uses basic knit and purl stitch combinations. Include a bit of contrast colour at cast on or a pompom at the end for detail.
Finished Measurements: Length: 9.25” (23.5cm), Circumference at brim: 17” (43cm) unstretched.
Yarn: 1 skein of Brooklyn Tweed Shelter (140yds (128m), 100% American wool, 50g) or approx. 140yds (128m) in Worsted weight yarn. A few yards of scrap yarn for brim if required.

Needles: US size 3 (3.25mm) circular needles or straight needles (if required) for long tail tubular cast on.
US size 4 (3.5mm) circular needles (or dpns) for ribbing.
US size 7 (4.5mm) circular needles (or dpns).
Notions: 6 stitch markers.
Gauge: On 3.5mm, 22 sts and 32 rows = 4” (10cm) in 1×1 rib (unstretched) unblocked.
On 4.5mm, 16 sts of bow st panel = 3.25” (8cm)
On 4.5mm, 15 sts of rib panel = 2.5” (6.5cm)
On 4.5mm, 14 sts of moss panel = 3” (7.5cm)
