Arth means “meaning” in Hindi. It is a triangular wrap worked in one piece. Beginning from the bottom up, the lace panels grow out evenly into the body of the shawl ending with a broad twisted rib and lace border.
Finished Measurements: Top edge length: 90” (228.5cm), depth: 27.5” (70cm).

Needles: US size 4 (3.5mm) needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
Notions: At least 2 stitch markers. Use more markers, if needed for lace repeats.
Gauge: 21 sts and 40 rows = 4.75” (12cm) using centre chart, after blocking.
7 sts and 13 rows = 1.5” (3.75cm) using chart 3, after blocking.
